Flood Relief

Severe flash floods have hit all provinces of Pakistan due to abnormally heavy monsoon rains, causing over 1,000 deaths and loss of over 10 billion dollars in property including damage to tens of thousands of houses.

Infaaq has received demands through our associates in various areas regarding emergency need of dry food items, medicines, temporary shelter and repair and reconstruction of damaged houses.

Religious dues like zakat, sadqah and sehm-e-Sadaat can also be contributed. Sayyed Ali Sistani (HA) and Sayyed Ali Khamenei (HA) have also issued fatawa respectively permitting use of 2/3 and 1/2 of sehm-e-Imam (af) for this purpose.
